Grand Champion Lamb
$150 to Reserve Lamb
$100 to Grand Champion Meat Goat
$50 to Reserve Lamb
Cash Awards
to Reserve Champion Lamb and Goat, Division Champion and Reserve
Lambs, and to both lambs and goats in class. Cash award to Champion
and Reserve Commercial Ewes Lambs. Prizes to showmanship winners.

There will be a division for Commercial Breeding Ewe Lambs. (No
Yearlings or Aged Ewes

Registered Ewes will show with the Commercial Ewes.

The Market Lamb Show will be a breed show.

Lambs will be classified at weigh in as White Breed Influence (WBI
or Speckle), Hamp, Suffolk, Natural Color, and Cross.

Classes will be broken by weight in each breed.

Lambs will be classified based on breed character, papers not
required.

Schedule:
Weigh In: 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Goat Showmanship will begin at 3:00 pm followed
by the Meat Goat Show, Lamb Showmanship, Commercial Ewes, and then
Market Lambs
Eligibility
Open to all lamb exhibitors under the age of 21
Showmanship: Senior (15 and up) Intermediate (12-14) Junior (8-11)
Pee Wee (7 and under), based on age as of 1/1/2008
Pens are available on first come first serve basis, exhibitors are
responsible for cleaning their pens
NO reweighs, all decisions by show management are final (protests
on classification will NOT be heard)
Health papers NOT required (Still need to comply with State Health
Paper Regulations though)
Show management reserves the right to kick out any lambs showing
signs of fungus, sore mouth, or any contagious diseases!
Wahoo Jackpot, Show Sponsors, and Saunders County Fair Board are
not liable for any damage, loss, or accident that may occur. |
